Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative
responsible for processing insurance and patient payments.
Key Responsibilities
Process payments for insurance companies and patients, balancing
batches against daily deposits
Post payment batches, including denials, and provide supporting
documentation for each transaction
Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures while participating
in unit progress meetings
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
6 months previous medical billing experience preferred
Proficiency in basic computer operations
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Accurate 10-key by touch and typing speed of 40-45 WPM
