Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Database Engineer who excels at
mentoring and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of database engineers to design, implement, and
maintain high-availability database systems running PostgreSQL
Participate in project planning and sprint ceremonies to deliver
database solutions in an Agile environment
Provide technical guidance and support to other technology teams,
ensuring compliance with security policies
Required Qualifications
BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
experience
10+ years of engineering experience with Database Engineering,
Systems Engineering, DevOps, and/or SRE
3+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers
specializing in database systems
Experience in cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization
solutions
Proficiency with operating PostgreSQL in a Linux environment is a
plus
