Description A Pharmacy Technician has completed an accredited
Pharmacy Technician Program in the United States and/or possesses
an active California Pharmacy Technician License. Under the
supervision of the Area Pharmacy Management Team and the PIC, the
Pharmacy Technician assists SJH Pharmacists in all functions
required by the department that the Pharmacy Technician can legally
perform. A Pharmacy Technician employs intellectual, interpersonal
and technical skills through the utilization of pharmacy processes
to provide expedient and exceptional patient care. The pharmacy
technician functions as a vital member of the Pharmacy team through
interdependent and dependent roles within the department Provides
age-appropriate care for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and

- Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program in
the United States or Active National Pharmacy Technician board
(PTCB) certification.
- California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. Preferred

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation
may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or
