  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Wound Care RN for a travel assignment.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Hold an active BLS certification.
    • Hold an active ACLS certification.
    • Hold an active California license.
    • Must have at least 3 years of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts are 10 hours with varied start times between 7 am and 10 am.
      • Weekend Requirement: can work Saturdays, but will not be scheduled on Sundays.
      • Holidays: No.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floor specific orientation based off of experience.
          • Additional Details
          • Unit: Wound care
          • # beds: Cover the entire hospital
          • Certs: BLS, ACLS, and WOCN are required.
          • Ostomy experience highly preferred.
          • Ratios: 3 Wound Care Nurses scheduled each day with staggered start times (treat approximately 45-60 patients/day).
          • EMR: Cerner
          • Charge Nurse: Clinical Supervisor
          • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
          • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Patients that require wound care treatments.
          • Additional Notes: In addition to MedSurg experience or other, must have at least 3 years of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting.
