Together the hospital and residency program implemented a ground-breaking curriculum addressing the identification treatment and assistance of human trafficking victims and created a one-of-a-kind health clinic for victims the Human Trafficking Medical Home.ResponsibilitiesSupervises phlebotomy personnel and operations to ensure quality and compliance with relevant policies and ethics. Monitors patient safety during the sample collection process and proper experimental practices. Develops, implements and evaluates laboratory personnel training.Responsibility:Manages samples of blood and other fluids from patients; ensures patient safety during the sample collection process.Monitors subordinates' work and progress to ensure that all laboratory employees comply with relevant policies and ethics.Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures.Oversees and develops laboratory personnel training; instructs, supervises and manages technicians to conduct proper experimental practices.QualificationsMinimum Qualification:Experience and Education:Minimum of three (3) years of progressive Laboratory Services experience in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory ScienceDidactic and practical clinical training in medical laboratory services required to be a licensed PhlebotomistLicensure:Certified as a Phlebotomistmaintain current Basic Life Support certificationPay Range$34.50 - $45.37 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
